APRIL NEWSLETTER: Planted in Full BLOOM!

APRIL NEWSLETTER: Planted in Full BLOOM!

Hi RG Family -

It’s April! Spring is finally here!!! Besides Christmas, I think Spring just may be my favorite season of the year.

As I reflected on what to write about this month, the word "Planted" was engraved in my mind—along with the word "Bloom." I feel that as I grow my business, I am also growing personally. Trees mature over time, and that reminds me of a verse from our Scripture of the Month, but specifically one verse before, Psalms 92:12: “The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon.”

Have you ever been through a season where you felt like , "what else God, like what else could go wrong?" Even when it seems like He puts more on us than we can bear, it’s still a reflection of His fatherly love. In order to stay planted and fully bloom into what God is calling us to do, we must let Him be the gardener.

But, what does this look like?

1. He plants us. Being planted can feel uncomfortable. Imagine being a perfect seed, created with intention, only to be buried in rough, dry dirt. It can feel confusing, but there is purpose in the planting.

2. He covers us. After planting, He covers us for protection. This season can feel lonely or isolating, but God never leaves. He watches over us, even through the storms. Though the sun may seem hidden, it is always there. This is temporary even when it doesn’t feel like it.

3. He watches us sprout and removes the weeds. Though we may not be fully mature, we begin to break through the dirt, finally seeing light after our struggles. The weeds of our past—unforgiveness, doubt, and unseen obstacles—are removed by the gardener so they don’t choke our growth. He is always watching, protecting us from destruction.

4. He feeds us. Growth requires nourishment. Just as a plant needs water and sunlight, we need God’s Word and community to sustain us in our spiritual walk.

5. He checks our roots. As we grow, we may not always see the gardener, but He is still present. He tests our roots, ensuring we have a strong foundation in Him before allowing us to grow freely.

So, even when we don’t see the gardener every day, His presence remains. Once our roots are planted and we bloom, our branches stretch far and wide, providing shelter and nourishment to others. Just as birds and wildlife find a home in a thriving tree, we become a source of strength and encouragement for those around us.

This analogy is so special to me because it reminds me that our blooming isn’t for us alone. We are planted to grow, thrive, and provide for others—to be steady, rooted trees in our community. Storms will come, winds will blow, and lightning may strike—but when we are planted in the Word of God, nothing can uproot us. How beautiful it is to thrive and bloom into everything the Lord has called us to be!

Monthly Scripture Reflection: "Planted in the house of the Lord, they thrive in the courts of our God." Psalms 92:13 NIV

Prayer for the Month of April: Lord, whatever season we are in, help us to stay planted. May we not leave, not move, but endure—remaining grounded in You through every storm and trial.Psalms 92 reminds us that when we are planted in Your house, we thrive in Your presence, not in the approval of man, but in You. Help us manage our expectations when we seek immediate answers, and remind us that Your timing is perfect that creates a beautiful and blooming harvest of fruit. May we grow spiritually, in community, and in Your presence. Your love is the most wonderful gift.

Thank You, Jesus. We honor You. We love You.

love & blessings,

Mina
